PRESIDENT
Kurt Stitser is a 5th generation Nevadan who grew up in the construction and development industry. With a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University, he spent 7 years working in the commercial construction sector around the Denver Metro area before returning home to start Realm Constructors in 2012. Through active involvement in various industry groups, leaders at the forefront of progressive design and development cultivated his perspective on construction.

KIP THOMPSON
PRECONSTRUCTION MANAGER
A native to Reno, after completing his degree in Environmental Engineering at UNR, Kip Thompson spent 10+ years working in the mining industry then as a commercial construction Project Manager before coming on board at Realm Constructors. His past project experience, extensive knowledge of building systems, and attention to detail make him invaluable during the Pre-Construction phase of projects. Couple that with his established relationships and industry contacts within the community, and it makes him a very effective Estimator as well.

EARL CHRISTENSEN

Earl Christensen was born and raised in Verdi, NV. After working for his family’s General Contracting business through high school and college, he moved to Lake Tahoe to remodel and build custom homes. His field experience covers the entire scope of a job from excavating to high-end finish carpentry. His skills and knowledge gained from working in the trades translate effectively to his position as Construction Manager.

ZACK POINDEXTER
PROJECT MANAGER
Zack was born in Bloomington, Indiana. After completing his undergraduate degree, Zack moved to the Sierra Nevada Mountains and eventually to Reno. He has an extensive and varied background in residential construction as well as a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno. His education and past work experience bring both an analytical and common sense approach that make Zack an efficient Project Manager.

Joe Trotta was born and raised on the East coast, and in 1976 vacationed in Tahoe but never left. His construction experience began as an apprentice carpenter, and over time acquired a contractors license and ran his own company. With more than 40 years experience he has developed a strong leadership style and is well respected for both his knowledge and professionalism.

SUPERINTENDENT
Ted Johnson has been a resident of the Reno/Tahoe area for decades, and building custom homes nearly as long. Immediately prior to joining the Realm Constructors team, Ted was running large scale projects inside the Lake Tahoe basin as well as within Martis Camp. His experience and knowledge make him a very effective Superintendent, and his ability to build highly detailed features in his workshop adds a personal touch to all of his projects.

BRODY FAULKNER

Brodie Faulkner began his career as a Journeyman framer in Oregon, and relocated to the Truckee/Tahoe area as a young man. Over time he developed into a Superintendent building multiple high-end custom homes throughout Truckee. After taking a year-long sabbatical to build his personal residence by hand, Brodie joined the Realm Constructors team. Since then he has proven to be a valued asset who is particularly well liked by our clients.

Derek Kubecka has been working in residential construction for more than 10 years, most of which has been spent mastering the craft of finish carpentry. His attention to detail, and discerning eye for quality makes him a valued asset, especially during project close-out.
